This cutting board has a unique pattern that differs from a simple checkered pattern while still exemplifying a classic look. It is made of maple and cherry end grain, creating the ideal cutting surface for your knives. The cutting board also features inset hand holds on the sides to make it easy to move around your kitchen as needed while also allowing you to cut on either side of the board.

This board is made and ready to ship. The board pictured is the one you will receive. It is made from cherry and maple hardwood, creating an ideal cutting surface for your knives. End grain cutting boards are considered the gold standard for the longevity of your knives. Our boards are sanded to 400 grit and then finished with a food safe cutting board oil and our board butter (a combination of organic beeswax and mineral oil) to properly moisturize the wood and create a wonderfully smooth feel.
